Although I will need more Mastery Points as I level up, the increase in prowess will allow me to hunt stronger Evils that will award more Mastery Points.

As long as I am not afraid of the Evils and never turn back at challenges, I will be able to keep on growing stronger or die in the process of doing it.

Hunting the Evils for Mastery Points and improve his prowess was the only path Lu Chen could quickly become stronger.

However, Xiao Wei wasn’t able to see him clearly in the dark. She only came out thinking someone came to steal their food when she heard the noise.

She had to stand up and defend their food even though she knew she might die if the exposed thief might kill her.

Even if I leave it be tonight, I’ll still be chased out of the house when Ah’Chen realized the food is missing tomorrow. Either way, I’ll die, so let’s do what I should.
